Painting on glass can be a slippery challenge, but daughter was up for it.
Best to start with some inexpensive, but heavy, glass candlesticks from Goodwill.
These two lovelies were only $1.97 a piece.
Wow, what a makeover!
This ugly duckling with the faux antique finish came from Goodwill and cost a whopping $6.97.
And this beauty came from a pretty scruffy garage sale.
Two other Goodwill finds provided the inspiration:
Mom says to daughter:
Can you paint this desk and chair for me? I’d like polka dots, stripes and triangles in pink, green, yellow, purple and creamy white.
And can you throw in some black and white checks? I also have a ceramic knob from MacKenzie Childs with a rose on it, can you paint a rose on the chair too?
Daughter looks at mom like she has finally lost her mind and tells mom that she doesn’t know how to do that.
But mom believes in daughter.
AND LOOK WHAT SHE DID!!!!!!!
